Books I Read in 2020

This year I set a goal to read 50 books, and I nearly did it! This is by far the most books I have ever read in one year (48!!), so I am still darn tootin’ proud of myself. Eight books received the coveted 5-star review, including a wide range of genres such as young adult contemporary, memoir, poetry, historical fantasy, and more. I’ve decided that my reading goal for next year will be 75 books—this may be a little overreaching, but I think my disappointment threshold is through the roof following this dumpster-fire of a year, so falling short will likely have little to no effect on my disposition.

I typically organize my books in one lump list in the order I read them, but due to the sheer volume this year I instead decided to order them by their rating. Within each category, books are listed chronologically in the order read.
