My Fairy Tale Wedding

Exactly two weeks ago, Austin and I tied the knot at Thornewood Castle in Lakewood, Washington. That day was nothing short of magical (once I officially passed off all logistical responsibilities to my trusting bridal party that morning). We had family and friends attend from every corner of the country, the most beautiful weather the Pacific Northwest has to offer, and subtle additions throughout the celebration that hinted our everlasting love...for Harry Potter.

52 Books in 52 Weeks FAIL

In April, a coworker told me they are trying to read 52 books in 52 weeks during 2018. As a (wannabe) avid reader, I decided to jump on this train, even though the year was already four months up and I had only finished four books. Admittedly, I should have thought this through a little more before I made my inward commitment - reading during every minute of spare time was just not plausible when my wedding was the following month.
